# Release Notes - 3.13.1

This maintenance and hotfix release addresses graph query memory scaling and entity cap limits during routine execution, eliminates tool routing collisions across External MCP connections in Copilot, and resolves a high-severity frontend dependency vulnerability.

**Highlights**

- **External MCP tool disambiguation in Copilot:** Copilot now prefixes External MCP tool names with their connection name, preventing collisions where identically named tools across multiple servers shadowed each other
- **Configurable entity limits for ledger queries:** Exposes an environment variable override so append-only ledgers and revision-chain routines can exceed the default 5,000-item ceiling when needed.
- **Accurate worker OOM diagnostics:** Stale-job cleanup now detects probable container memory limit exhaustion from the worker’s final memory sample instead of classifying these failures only as heartbeat timeouts.

**What changedExternal MCP tool routing and prefixing**

- When multiple External MCP connections were registered and exposed tools were sharing the same name, tool resolution could collide. This made it possible for one connection’s tool registration to overwrite another and prevented Copilot from reaching the intended server reliably.

**Graph search scaling and memory protection**

- The search path now evaluates candidate writer runs from lightweight extraction metadata first, then fetches items only for the winning runs.
- **Row-bound safeguard:** Raises an explicit error before the worker encounters uncontrolled memory exhaustion.
- **Improved observability:** Graph-search logging now includes raw pre-filter row counts as well as loaded counts to make high-expansion queries easier to identify.
- **Better OOM attribution:** Stale-job cleanup now uses the worker’s final memory sample to identify probable out-of-memory kills instead of reporting them only as generic heartbeat or execution timeouts.

**Dynamic object entity limits and error diagnostics**

- **Configurable entity cap:** An environment variable now allows operators to override the default graph-search entity limit for larger ledgers.
- **More informative diagnostics:** Error messages now identify the exact label and item count that exceeded the configured cap.
- **Boundary condition fix:** Validation now permits datasets with exactly 5,000 items and only blocks results that exceed the limit.
- **Clearer result trimming behavior:** Documentation and behavior now make it clearer that `max_results` is applied after loading as a relevance trim, not as a database-level hard limit.
